A series of soft wall sculptures.
I love experimenting with punch needle projects that do not necessary need to be in a traditional frame or in an embroidery hoop. One of these playful sessions of trying out a new idea lead me to this arch form. As the surface of the arch is pretty rough from the wool yarn I wanted to add a contrast with a very smooth and soft tassels. I think the combination with an almost scratchy surface of the arch with a soft texture of the tassels makes a really nice and calming combination. Ideal to display alone or in a gallery wall.
