Hi!

I am Heli Savila – a punch needle artist based in Helsinki, originally from Estonia. Creator and maker behind Lemons And Yarn. My punch needle artwork has traveled all over the world from Europe to Asia and North America.

I have been hosting punch needle workshops since 2019. I am also teaching at Helsingin työväenopisto and Tartu Rahvaülikool.

Summer of 2023 I was selected to join a small group of artists to attend a residential course at the Oxford Rug Hooking School in Vermont, USA. As by the end of 2023 I am a Certified Oxford Instructor, being one of the few in Europe and first in Finland with this certification.

I am a member of The Finnish Association of Textile Artists (TEXO).
