I love experimenting with punch needle projects that do not necessary need to be in a traditional frame or in an embroidery hoop. One of these playful sessions ended with a failed coaster project that turned into a puffy tassel and from that a more practical plant hanger was born. I wanted it to have a sculptural feel, so that it can act as a practical plant holder but is also pleasing to the eye and has a role in a room.
